TRUSSARDI presents Archive+Now°3 with a Capsule Collection in collaboration with Giorgio Di Salvo.

The third instalment is centered around the work of the Milanese creative talent and designer Giorgio Di Salvo. The designer is founder and creative director of the iconic brand United Standard, defined by Highsnobiety as the brand “which is engineering the future of Italian Streetwear”.
Giorgio Di Salvo was asked to design a Capsule Collection of garments and accessories inspired by Trussardi archive, with the aim of propelling the heritage of the Italian lifestyle brand towards the future. Iconic pieces of the archive have been brought up-to-date according to the aesthetic and functional canons of Giorgio Di Salvo. The leather trousers and shirt have been re-thought in terms of fit, the belt bag has been re-designed with a contemporary shape and the 90s waistcoat has been transformed into a new and functional fashion piece. The collection is completed by trousers, branded sweatshirts and the iconic T-shirt with a greyhounds print.
Archive+Now°3: the bridge between the label's past and future.

Giorgio Di Salvo’s research within the precious Trussardi archive started with the greyhound, synonymous with elegance, stylishness and vitality, which Nicola Trussardi chose to be the symbol of the brand in 1973. It is this logo that becomes the star of the capsule collection, alongside leather, another pillar of the brand.

The collection will be on sale by the end of the year, and it is presented via a photos and video project that will see the cult American artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt as the star.

The project will continue throughout the whole of 2019 with new creative collaborations and many other presentations narrating the new direction of the brand, looking back on what has always been done: involving different perspectives and points of view at the heart of Trussardi’s history, whilst remaining firmly rooted in Milan and in the vivacity of this city.
