The Limited-Edition Greyhound T-shirt Made from Regenerative Cotton

Symbolizing the eternal, cyclical renewal of life, the new Trussardi circular greyhound logo appears printed on limited-edition T-shirts, marking the beginning of the house’s new social and environmental responsibility mission.

All the proceeds of the T-shirt sales will go to Fundación Benjamín Mehnert, an organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Spanish greyhounds—galgos and podencos—traditionally bred for racing, then widely abused and abandoned.

Channelling this same circular spirit of the greyhound logo, the T-shirts are made with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)-certified cotton cultivated from regenerative agriculture. The T-shirt’s cotton is grown from locally sourced non-GMO seeds with regenerative agriculture methods in different regions of India. The two limited-edition T-shirts are the first products under Trussardi’s new creative direction, led by Benjamin A. Huseby and Serhat Işık.
