In 2009, after a major renovation overseen by Milan Vukmirovic, Il Ristorante Trussardi Alla Scala is a clean, inviting space with an interior inspired by a cosmopolitan, contemporary mood. The restaurant puts its guests at the centre of the culinary experience: they can choose to spend the evening enjoying an extraordinary view of Piazza della Scala from the comfort of soft, inviting armchairs, or in a more dynamic ambience, entertained by the dramatic spectacle of the open kitchen, against the backdrop of a monumental gold wall. The dining space is conceived like a modern living room, with leather-upholstered seating, pale wooden floors, velvet sofas, and photographs dotting its white walls. Every detail of Il Ristorante Trussardi Alla Scala has been designed to offer guests the experience of accessible luxury, in keeping with the spirit of Trussardi Group. Trussardi values can also be found in the menu: Andrea Berton's cuisine is well-balanced, lucid and straightforward, and the elements of his dishes are bold and recognizable, never deceiving the palate. In keeping with Trussardi Group's sensitivity to environmental issues, the chef favours organic ingredients.
