Artistic Director, Fondazione Nicola Trussardi

Massimiliano Gioni is Artistic Director of Fondazione Nicola Trussardi, combining this activity with other prestigious posts around the world. Gioni is also Director of Special Projects at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and Artistic Director of the 2010 Gwangju Biennale in Korea. He has curated (in collaboration with Maurizio Cattelan and Ali Subotnick) the 4th Berlin Biennale (2006), Manifesta 5 in San Sebastian (2004), and the pavilion La Zona at the 50th Venice Biennale, in addition to a series of international group exhibitions such as Monument To Now (2004) and The Fractured Figure (2007) for the Deste Foundation in Athens.
