Andrea Berton is Chef and Director of Il Ristorante Trussardi Alla Scala and Café Trussardi. He has worked in some of the world's most exclusive kitchens, at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, Louis XV in Montecarlo (with Alain Ducasse) and Gualtiero Marchesi's restaurant in Via Bonvesin della Riva, Milan, where he later returned as Executive Chef. Andrea Berton has received prestigious official recognition for his achievements; in 2007, Il Ristorante Trussardi Alla Scala, was named best new restaurant of the year by the L'Espresso guide to Italian restaurants, and earned its first Michelin star in 2008, followed by a two-star rating in 2009.
